Comparing Gerber Life vs. Sentinel Security

Gerber Life and Sentinel Security Life both offer whole life insurance products to their clients, but their policies are designed to do very different things.

Gerber Life offers whole life insurance designed for young adults and seniors. There are two different policies available to suit these very different demographics.

In addition to the whole life policies, Gerber Life also offers term life insurance and another whole life policy for children and teens.

Sentinel Security is focused on seniors; all three of its policies are designed for those looking for final expense whole life insurance.

Each of the three policy types is based on the policyholder’s health, starting with the healthiest being eligible for the most affordable policy and continuing to grow more expensive in plans for those with more health conditions or complications.

Both companies offer easy applications online. However, Gerber Life offers higher coverage with its whole life policies for adults, with a maximum of $300,000, while Sentinel Security offers a maximum of $35,000.

This is because Sentinel Security insurance is designed to be final expense insurance. It is meant to pay for remaining debts or funeral costs rather than covering large medical debts or leaving something behind for family members.

While these rates are higher, the coverage offered is also higher. This is because whole life insurance policies are designed to cover more than just final expenses.

This policy is meant to cover large debts or to leave money behind to loved ones in addition to paying for final expenses like a funeral, burial, etc.

When stacking up Gerber Life vs. Sentinel Security life insurance rates, Sentinel Security is the more affordable option for final expense insurance. However, if you want more coverage, Gerber Life offers affordable rates for seniors looking for whole life insurance policies.
